Here is a video of Landon moving in his Jumperoo. He LOVES this thing! He likes talking to the parrot.

First ear infection
Both boys are recovering from ear infections. They both got em at the same time. All week I have been playing Dr. Mommy and Dr. Wifey. Jeremy came down with the flu and had temps up to 103 degrees. He kept his distance from Jalen and Landon because we did not want them to get sick. For them having ear infections, they were actually not that fussy as I thought they would be. Maybe I caught it early enough and their antibiotics helped the pain go away quicker.
Landon and Jalen are getting so big and they are learning so many new things each day. Landon has found out that he can blow and spit for a few weeks now and it's so funny hearing him do this. He thinks it's funny when mommy plays along and make those fart noises with lips too. Jalen is now grabbing onto EVERYTHING! He loves reaching for my hair. Landon is my little squirmy worm. He can move his body and worm it across the floor pushing with his legs. Both boys are loving their playtime together. They are always reaching for each other and giving smiles. Cereal feeding is also going well. Jalen prefers oatmeal than the rice. I don't blame him. Both are really aware of feeding. I think there are times when I am eating, Jalen is wanting the same. He would just stare at me and start reaching as if he wants some of that too.
Jordan is almost done with his fall sports. Soccer ended last week and football ends tomorrow. Halloween is just around the corner and everyone's outfits are almost finished. Grandma has been working hard getting the boys costume ready and is about finished. She has the hat left for Jordan's. I will be posting pics soon. Here are some I took this past week.

Lots of drool from Jalen. He was actually trying to eat his sleeve. Fingers are constantly in both of their mouths.

Mommy Confession Monday
Today was the first time we had to buy diapers since Jalen and Landon were born. We stocked up on diapers from Sam's Club before they were born and we have received A LOT from friends and family. This has helped a ton! We have a bunch of size 3's, but the boys are a tad bit small to move up. Yay for saving a bunch of money through the last 5 months!
And another confession... I LOVE the smell of the lavender Johnson & Johnson night time lotion. I have my own bottle in my bathroom for myself.

Fall weather
It's time to break out the hoodies and sweat pants. Jalen and Landon have been sporting around this clothing for almost a week now. Temps only high in 50's and 40's means my little snuggle bugs needs to be bundled up. Below are some pics to show off their new hats. We went to an outdoor 50th surprise birthday party. I didn't keep the boys outside that long. When the sun went down, it was time to go inside. I was freezing too.
The last 3 days, we have not been out of the house. We have stayed inside staying warm. Plus, Landon has had a runny nose and I didn't want him to get any worst. He is much better now.

Mommy Confession Monday
I got this from a another great twin mom. She has two beautiful twin boys and I love reading her blogs too. I am going to try and keep this "Monday Confession" going every week.
My Mommy confession for this week is I love changing a poopy diaper. However, it has to be my kids only. :-) My boys don't poop that often because they are being fed on breast milk. They can go for 4-5 days without pooping. Today Landon had his first poopy diaper after being 4 days. Jeremy was making fun of me because all day I was singing to Landon about pooping. It worked, because this afternoon he finally pooped! Jalen pooped twice! You may think it's gross, but I don't. Blowouts are a different story. Daddy can clean those up! :-)

5 months old!!!
I am a day late, but the boys turned 5 months old yesterday! I was thinking that they are a month shy from being 1/2 of a year. These months have flown by! I will be planning their 1 year birthday party before I know it. Jalen and Landon are showing more and more of their personalities. I can just watch them play all dya long and be entertained. I don't need anything else.
This past week we started on rice cereal. Jalen wants nothing to do with it. Landon LOVES it! Here are some pics from our first feeding.

I can't believe how fast they are growing up! Mommy has received her flu shot and daddy is getting his next week through work. We have to stay healthy around the kids. We don't want them to get sick. I am going to hate seeing them feel miserable and sick. Landon and Jalen are still sleeping through the night and will sleep for 10-12 hours. I actually have to set my alarm now because there will mornings that they do not wake up until 8:30am.

Jalen's ultrasound appointment
Yesterday Jalen had his ultrasound at Riley Childrens Hospital. The u/s was to check for any internal hemangiomas. Jalen did really well. He was a little squirmy and had to be held down a little bit so the radiologist could get the pictures she needed. I thought he was going to be really fussy since he was not allowed to eat when he woke up. Since Jalen sleeps all night, I did a "dream feeding" on him at 2am. This is when I feed him while he sleeps. He had no problems and never woke up. I did this because I did not want him to go for more than 12 hours with out eating. He was not allowed to eat 4 hours before his appointment.
The results on the u/s is that they did not find any hemangiomas inside! I couldn't find anything out yesterday bc the radiologist is not allowed to discuss. Her job is to take the pictures. Thankfully the Dr. called me early this morning to tell me everything is okay. Yay! No worries there! He goes in the 26th for a follow-up appointment at the dermatologist.
